Here’s a quick guide to some of the Waboba stockists in Phuket:
Patong Beach
It’s easy to find the Waboba Balls at Patong Beach. If you drive along Thaweewong Road (the beachfront) until you get to a kink in the road at the junction with Bangla Road, on your left you’ll find KR World Sports. The balls are in there. Stockists in Thailand currently only have the Waboba Extreme Ball. Other balls and beach toys will be coming later in the year.
You’ll also find Waboba not far from there, at All4Diving on Sawatdirak Road, about 100 metres back from the beach.
Chalong Bay
If you get to the Chalong Roundabout and drive towards Chalong Pier, you will see a row of dive shop on the right hand side of the road.
You will find the balls at the Ocean Store, which is connected to the beautiful, new boutique hotel, Pier 42.
You will also find the balls at Raya Divers on the same stretch of road, close to the roundabout.
Cape Panwa
The balls are available in the hotel boutique at Novotel Phuket Resort Panwa, which is all tucked away (we were lost when we came across it) on its own beach on the west side of the cape.
They are also available at the Phuket Aquarium, at the southern tip of Cape Panwa.
Nai Harn Beach
You’ll find Waboba at the Shaddy Minimart just in front of the All Seasons Hotel, and at the boutique in the Royal Phuket Yacht Club.
Laguna
You’ll find Waboba at Chaba Supermarket, just before the entrance to the Laguna area. You will also find us at SuperSports in Canal Village.
Kata Beach
The balls are available at 999 MiniMart on Pak Bang Road. You’ll find this easily if you start at the main entrance to the Kata Beach Resort and head down the road towards the beach.
Kamala Beach
You’ll find us at Kamala Bay Minimart immediately in front of the Courtyard by Marriott Kamala Beach.
Karon Beach
Having written recently about Karon Beach, we were amazed to find that this most Swedish of beaches was the one that got away. If you’re a Waboba fan holidaying on Karon Beach, head on down to the 99 MiniMart on Patak Road East (close to the Karon Roundabout) and tell them that they absolutely, completely need to stock Waboba Balls along with all the Swedish newspapers.
Probably the closest shop to Karon Beach is the Suthum Minimart, at the entrance to Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort (on the right-hand side, about 20 metres before the hotel entrance gate).
